Five People You Should Follow on LinkedIn

If you were to follow five key people on LinkedIn who could potentially have the most affect on your professional efforts who would they be?  I have attempted to create a short list along with the reason of why to follow them.  Follow these people; study their habits, and how they interact.  Ask the questions of why they do things they do, along with the way they do it and I believe you will begin to see a pattern of success that can be created in your business.

Gerald Haman-LinkedIn Group Manager of several large groups on LinkedIn.  You should watch how Gerald continues to bring “solutions” to the masses.  The true spirit of an entrepreneur in seeing a need and creatively meeting that need.

Mike O’Neil & Lori Ruff LinkedIn trainers.  Mike and Lori have been involved with LinkedIn since its inception.  They travel extensively throughout the United States training in workshops on how best to use LinkedIn.  While traveling they also maintain a great blog and radio show.

Jason Alba– Job Expert when it comes to LinkedIn.  He wrote the book “I am on LinkedIn Now What?” He also is the founder of Jibber Jobber, so what is Jibber Jobber? It is more like a personal relationship manager that allows you to do everything you need to do to manage a job search and optimize your network relationships – for the duration of your career!

Steven Burda– Super connector and Mother Teresa of networking.  If you want to know what it takes to become one of the most connected people online?  Following Steven will give you an idea of what that takes along with best practices to implement to grow your connections.

Randy Schrum– ( Our very own- Head of Faculty) His company MyCorporateMedia provides Social Media solutions & strategy.  I believe MyCorporateMedia understands how to integrate social media into an existing marketing strategy better than any other firm I have met.  This includes the use of LinkedIn for businesses.

Those are just five key people and I am sure you may have others you would like to add.  We welcome any other recommendations as well.  The idea in this post is to provide quality professionals that people can follow and learn from.
